By undertaking a Certificate IV in Mental Health, you will learn the skills necessary to support the recovery of people experiencing psychiatric disability and mental illness and show them the care and empathy they need.
Training Delivery
Certificate IV in Mental Health Support course is predominantly classroom based. Training is delivered through our Registered Training Organisation: LearnEd Training RTO ID 52504
Students are provided with the following:
Required course materials such as:
- Required course materials such as workbooks
- Access to computers and software during class
- Your student training plan
- A dedicated and qualified trainer
- Targeted assessment tools
Entry Requirements
There are no formal requirements for this qualification, however, students must be 17 years or older to enrol and parental consent required if under 18.
Student must be 18 years of age to complete work placement and complete this qualification.
Students must complete a language, literacy and numeracy test at induction
Student must have a USI number – we can assist if required.
Students must be citizen/permanent resident or have legal rights to study & work in Australia.
Students also required to have a National police Clearance before commencing Work Placement
Upon Completion
Upon successful completion of this qualification, you will receive a:
- Nationally recognised Certificate & Transcript OR
- Statement of Attainment (if student is found competent in at least 1 Unit of Competency)
