This Certificate III in Individual Support is for those who want to work in the community or in a residential setting, following a customised plan to give person-centred assistance to individuals who may need it due to ageing, disability or other circumstances.
Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.

Training Delivery
The Certificate III in Individual Support course is predominantly classroom based. Training is delivered through our Registered Training Organisation: LearnEd Training RTO ID 52504

Entry Requirements
There are no formal requirements for this qualification, however, students must be 17 years or older to enrol and parental consent required if under 18.
Student must be 18 years of age to complete work placement and complete this qualification.
Students must complete a language, literacy and numeracy test at induction
Student must have a USI number – we can assist if required.
Students must be citizen/permanent resident or have legal rights to study & work in Australia.
Students also required to have a National police Clearance before commencing Work Placement
Upon Completion
Upon successful completion of this qualification, you will receive a:
Nationally recognised Certificate & Transcript OR
Statement of Attainment (if student is found competent in at least 1 Unit of Competency)
